Improvement Proposal Rules and Terms
Purpose
Improvement Proposals are a community governance signal. They help the Agent Zero team understand what the community currently wants, believes, needs, or considers important so the project can be steered in a better direction. They are proposals only, not decisions, directives, promises, or binding instructions to the project team.
Non-Binding Proposals
A proposal, vote result, comment thread, or high score does not require the team to implement anything. Some proposals may conflict with project principles, security requirements, legal constraints, existing plans, other proposals, or available resources. The team may review, ignore, reject, postpone, adapt, or implement proposal ideas at its discretion.
Creating a Proposal
Proposals can be created from the New Proposal page. A connected wallet is required. The current default configuration requires a minimum stake score of 100 to create a proposal and limits each wallet to 10 active proposals at a time. Each proposal has a title and markdown description.
Voting and Comments
Active proposals are listed on the Improvement Proposals page. Voting happens on the proposal detail page. A connected wallet is required to upvote or downvote, and the current default minimum vote stake score is 1. Vote weight is calculated from the wallet's current stake score when proposals are read, so displayed scores may change over time as stake scores change. Comments are for discussion and must follow the Community Rules.
Proposal Lifetime
Proposals are active for 90 days from creation. After that period, they move to the past proposals view by date comparison. There is no monthly promotion round and no automatic "In Consideration" status. The team can review active or past proposals whenever useful, and moderation status remains separate from the active or past grouping.
Editing, Removal, and Moderation
Proposal creators can edit or remove their own proposals while editing is allowed. If an administrator redacts a proposal or comment, the author can no longer edit over that redaction, but the author may still remove their own content. Administrators may redact, disable, enable, or otherwise moderate proposals and comments to protect the platform, users, and project.
Content Rules
Keep proposals relevant, constructive, and safe. Do not post spam, personal attacks, private data, API keys, wallet secrets, illegal content, or content unrelated to Agent Zero. By using improvement proposals, you also agree to the general Community Rules and Terms of Service.
